Nikhil won’t contest by-elections, HDK puts an end to speculations

Mandya: Putting an end to speculations that Nikhil Kumaraswamy will be contesting by-elections from KR pete, former chief minister Kumaraswamy said, “Nikhil won’t contest by-elections, because people let him down in Lok Sabha polls.”

Addressing presspersons he said, “You let my son down in the Lok Sabha elections. The party will field a local candidate. It is now up to you people to ensure his victory.”

He further recalled that former Prime Minister HD Deve Gowda’s relationship with KR pet and his struggle to get them Cauvery and Hemavathi water.

He also said that youths, instead of making memes on ‘Nikhil Ellidiyappa’ should also know the facts.
