Youth arrested for disturbing home-alone lady at night

Bantwal: A youth has been arrested by the police on the allegation of abusing an old woman who was home alone by knocking the door during night. The accused is identified as Puneet Prasad (20), a resident of Kula in Vitla.

The victim harassed by Puneet, is staying alone in the house of her late husband and her sons are working abroad. The woman was sleeping in the night, when the accused knocked the door. When the woman peeped from the window, the accused started abusing her with foul language.

Vitla police have registered a case in this connection.
