Bengaluru: Sanjeev Kumar Jha, Chief Electoral Officer said that party flags can be hoisted at houses or any buildings and there are no restrictions to it.
Addressing the media here, Jha clarified that there can be up to four flags in one building.
The political party members are permitted to distribute food in their office campus but are not allowed to woo voters.
There were objections from the political parties as the EC officials removed flags from private building recently. The BJP also alleged them of removing the party symbol ‘lotus’ which was imprinted on house walls, in few regions of the state.
