School girl attacked in Honnavara

Honnavara: A school girl was attacked by two bike-borne miscreants here today.

The victim has been identified as Kavya (15) class nine student.

It has been reported that when Kavya was on her way to Kodlagadde government high school, miscreants attacker her with knife and sped away.

Further probe is on.

Union Minister Ananth Kumar Hedge condemned the attack and said that the BJP would hold a ‘Jail bharo campaign’ against the violence held in Uttara Kannada district.

“The campaign would start at Uttara Kannada and then move to other regions across the state” he added.
