Kalaburagi: The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) has criticized former Chief Minister Siddaramaiah as a “nomad’ for not having a fixed constituency to contest for the assembly elections.
Siddaramaiah contested from Varuna, then moved on to Chamundeshwari and Badami in the last elections, and now he is contesting from Kolar. Siddaramaiah is hopping from one constituency to another for fear of losing elections, said Bjp state general secretary N Ravikumar at a press conference here.
Further, he alleged that Siddaramaiah has bought the favour of JD(S) leader Srinivas Gowda for contesting from Kolar. The viral audio conversation is proof of this, he claimed.
Ravikumar said that a strategy will be chalked out in 2-3 days for the Mayor and Deputy Mayor’s elections following the high court bench clearing the confusion over the voters’ list and reservation issues.
