Bengaluru: CM Siddaramaiah proceeding with his assault against the BJP in a series of tweets asked the people of the coastal region not to help ‘communal minded’ BJP in the upcoming elections.

In a series of tweets, Siddaramaiah stated, “BJP leaders don’t need individuals to live in peace.  They want to pit people against each other. They want people to beat up each other, burn the district, and play politics in innocents’ death. Theirs is governmental issues in death but ours is politics of life by providing food, milk, a house to live, a job and medicine for our people.

“In Dakshina Kannada out of 7 MLAs two are Muslims, one is a Christian, two are Jains and all have a place with minority group. Would it have been conceivable if dominant part Hindus were public? Here once again Congress will come to power,” he tweeted.

In another tweet he stated, “The BJP pioneers are offending individuals of their own land and state by comparing coastal people to terrorists and jihadists. Individuals in the coast are nation lovers, secular and lovers of brotherhood.”

“Last time when Modi went to the coastal Karnataka he made a communal hate speech but in three districts BJP managed to win just four seats.

“In the last elections out of 19 constituency, the Congress won 13 seats. In Dakshina Kannada it won 7 seats out of 8, in Udupi it won 3 out of 5 seats and in Uttara Kannada it won 3 out of 6 seats. Two independent MLAs from Uttara Kannada are with Congress now. There is star Congress wave in coastal Karnataka,” he said.

In another Twitter post he has asked individuals of coastal region not re-elect three BJP MPs who were against the Constitution and spreading hatred in the district.
