K’taka polls: Gururaj Gantihole seeks Haladi Srinivas Shetty’s blessings

BJP’s candidate from the Byndoor Assembly segment, Gururaj Gantihole visited influential leader and MLA of Kundapur, Haladi Srinivas Shetty at the latter’s residence on Saturday.

Gantihole sought the blessings and support of Shetty for the upcoming polls.

Addressing presspersons after the meeting, Srinivas Shetty said that senior party leaders and members had urged him to take on the responsibility of Byndoor Constituency.

He stated that it was his duty to do so, and expressed his support for Gantihole. He also urged the people to support the BJP candidate.

Meanwhile, Gantihole praised Shetty as a role model and thanked him for his support. He also claimed to have received encouragement from the sitting MLA of Byndoor, Sukumar Shetty, who reportedly advised him to be courageous.
