BJP Workers Found Top Govt Official with Rs 20 lakh Cash in Gundlupet

Gundlupet: Amid high voltage election campaign for by-elections scheduled on April 09 in Gundlupet and Nanjangud  constituencies,  BJP workers in Gundlupet have found Rs 20 lakh cash in the car of a top government official parked near a hotel here on Friday. According to the sources, 10 bundles of currency notes were found in the denomination of Rs 2,000 currency notes.

The top government official has been identified as Manoj Kajargi who is serving as a director at North Western Karnataka Road Transport Corporation. Gundlupet police were arrived at the spot and the official was reportedly taken into custody by the police, the sources said.
