Bengaluru: Kannada Okkoota President Vatal Nagaraj and other Kannada organisations have called for Bengaluru bandh on April 28 when Baahubali 2 movie is scheduled for its release. The bandh call came registering protest against a statement by Tamil actor Sathyaraj insulting the Kannadigas during Cauvery protests in the state. The Kannada organisations have also decided not to allow the movie halls in Bengaluru to screen Baahubali 2 movie on April 28 and afterwards as Sathyaraj has played a role in the movie.

The protesters have asked the Tamil actor to apologize for his derogatory comment against Kannadigas hurting their feelings. A procession will be conducted from town hall as part of the bandh called on April 28 in the state capital. Meanwhile, the protesters have clarified that, they aren’t against the movie Baahubali 2, instead they are fighting against Sathyaraj.
