Rayanna Brigade State President Virupakshappa quits BJP joins Congress

Raichur: K Virupakshappa, Sangolli Rayanna Brigade State President and BJP leader K S Eshwarappa’s close associate  who didn’t get the ticket from the BJP has now joined the Congress. 

Virupakshappa was a ticket aspirant  from Sindhanoor constituency, yet Sheshagiri Rao got the ticket. Virupakshappa joined Congress party on Wednesday, April 25, within the sight of Chief Minister Siddaramaiah communicating his disappointment with the BJP. 

The 76-year-old pioneer from Kuruba people group was chosen as a MLA and a MP each once.
