Mysuru: Chief Minister Siddaramaiah that if Congress comes to control in state, the Pourakarmikas will be nominated in every single local body.

Addressing the gathering after inaugurating meeting sorted out by Pourakarmika leaders and delegates from pro Pourakamika associations at Town Hall here on April 18, he stated, “Congress government in state has given different offices to the Pourakarmikas including improving the pay, cancellation of contract system, medical facilities and more budget allocation. Each of these works were embraced not for vote reason but rather for general development of our Pourakarmikas. What we had promised during the election time we have managed to fulfill most of it. If we return to power, all the more such formative works and welfare projects will be taken up for Pourakarmikas. Thus I ask for every one of you to vote in favor of Congress.”

He likewise said that Congress is the main party which can offer significance to the welfare of Pourakarmikas. On the event, within the sight of Chief Minister Siddaramaiah, few BJP members joined Congress party.

Swacch Bharat by central government is only for reputation: The genuine tidiness is being done by Pourakarmikas and not by others. “For the sake of Swacch Bharath, attention contrivance was made by taking photographs and they were never the same again. The genuine neatness work is being done by our Pourakarmikas. It is a direct result of them that the city looks neat and clean”, the CM said.
