MGM College students create software for Digital India

Udupi: Students of M.Sc. Computer Science at MGM College, Udupi have created software for Digital India.

One of their inventions is a User Interface for Chip Manufacturing Machine for Singapore Monde Solutions. Nowadays, India is giving more importance to hardware industries. But this software solution created by MGM students has been commended by a Singapore-based company. Moreover, students have also created a E.V.(E.W.E) software on the lines of Facebook. Many software companies have also praised the new software. One software company has also shown interest in improving this software.

Students have further created Commerce software for production of various products and the software has attracted many software companies. According to M Vishwanath Pai, Head of Department of Computer Science, “The invention is a small contribution to Digital India.”

The Industry Interface Lab of PG Department has helped the students in the innovation work, said Professor Kusuma Kamath, Principal of the College.
